Planeta Plumbago Sicily D.O.C..

Plumbago - with a spontaneous flower of a beautiful purplish color that grows in the woods surrounding the baglio and the Ulmo vineyards - is a pure Nero d'Avola. It comes from the old vineyard around Lago Arancio that gives us this soft and fruity version of this great Sicilian variety. Round tannins and perfectly dosed wood make it a wine of immediate pleasure. Ideal for Mediterranean cuisine based on vegetables and all types of meat.

Organoleptic notes

• Eyes: Saturated purple violet that you can't wait to drink it.
• Nose: Plumbago, dominated by the scent of ripe plums and wild blackberries, shows pleasantly complex aromatic traits of incense, jasmine and black truffle.
• Mouth: The texture of the tannin is varied and combines soft aspects, sweet and seductive, like a Sacher cake, to the harder ones, direct and austere than a Modica chocolate bar.
