Ypsigro – from the Byzantine Greek “cool place” – is the ancient name by which the village of Castelbuono was known. A name that speaks of identity, of connection with the territory and of continuity. This is where the inspiration for Ypsigro came from 2025, the new limited edition line by Fiasconaro: a project that recounts the pioneering and visionary spirit of the Castelbuono community. A tribute to the courage to innovate and dare while remaining faithful to one's identity.

Inside the package, an excellence of the Fiasconaro pastry shop: the tall panettone from 750 g with mulberries and milk chocolate, an exclusive creation by pastry chef Mario Fiasconaro. A perfect match between the sweetness of milk chocolate and the aromatic intensity of mulberries.

The new limited edition by Fiasconaro: a project that recounts the pioneering and visionary spirit of the Castelbuonese community. The concept of the line, accompanied by the pay-off “Bold by tradition”, was interpreted for the edition 2025 by the Castelbuonese artist Stefania Cordone, who was able to translate the creative character of the local community into illustrations. His drawings, suspended between memory and imagination, they transform the packaging into an imaginative visual narrative that enhances the identity of the territory. Ypsigro, but, it is a continually evolving project: starting from the edition 2026, Fiasconaro will open its doors to emerging talents, involving the Academies of Fine Arts in an annual contest. Every year, a young illustrator will have the opportunity to reinterpret the concept of the collection, giving life to new artistic visions and telling stories, with its own distinctive trait, the enterprising spirit of Castelbuono. A celebration of tradition that aims to look to the future without rhetoric, a tribute to art and design, and as always the valorization of the authentic flavors of our land.
